(KSL News) Police are searching for a man who robbed a downtown Burger King.
Police say just before 11:00 a.m., a man in his mid-20s ordered a drink at the 400 South Burger King. When the cashier opened the till, he demanded all the money. The robber said he had a gun but didn't want to be forced to use it.
The man was wearing a dark suit and white tennis shoes. Detective Jared Wihongi of the Salt Lake Police Department said, "It was unusual for a robbery suspect to be dressed like that. Hopefully it will make him stand out a little bit. If anyone in the public has seen him we would like information on it."
The man was last seen walking northbound on 200 East. The man is about six feet tall, has short, light colored hair, and has an Eastern European accent. It is unknown how much money he got a way with.
