(KSL News) A woman is in the hospital this morning after the car she was in slammed into a commercial trailer.
The woman and her husband were driving through a Taylorsville neighborhood at 4536 S. 700 West when he saw something in the road and swerved.
Their car slammed into the trailer, pinning the woman inside. She was taken out of the car and flown to the hospital with critical injuries. Her husband was not seriously hurt.
Police say the area is not well lit, and the trailer was parked illegally and did not have reflectors. The owner of the trailer will be cited.
