(KSL News) A suicide attempt by a young Utah girl has lead to a long prison sentence for an Oregon sex offender.

Joshua Kistler was sentenced today to more than 24 years in prison for producing child pornography. Police were led to Kistler after a Utah minor tried to kill herself because of guilt she felt from her online relationship with Kistler.

Prosecutors believe Kistler had similar relationships with other minors from all over the country, ranging in age from 12 to 15.
