(KSL News) Police arrested a man for slapping two women at a club overnight. Officers say it started with innocent flirting and ended with a dramatic scene.
Salt Lake City police say a man and two friends were flirting with two women at Club Vortex around 1:00 this morning. The women told them they weren't interested and the man got mad. Police say he pulled out some cash, told them he'd buy them, then he hit the women across the face.
Police chased the man through downtown and eventually pulled him over, drew their guns and arrested him.
They say he may have been drinking, and he has a criminal history.
