(KSL News) -- Utah Transit Authority broke ground today on a new TRAX station. The 9400 South stop will give riders access to Jordan Commons, the Southtowne Expo Center, and the future Real Salt Lake Stadium.
It's not a park-and-ride stop, but a drop off destination station. Officials hope the new station will relieve congestion in the area.
Congressman Jim Matheson, Sandy City mayor Tom Dolan, and Larry Miller attended the ground-breaking for the 2- million dollar station.
