(KSL News) -- Investigators shut down a section of 123-South near the on ramp of I-15 after a wreck that sent two people to the hospital in bad shape.

Draper police say the driver of a car carrying two elderly passangers ran a red light when turning onto the freeway. The car collided with a another car that had the green light.

The two elderly passanger were flown to the hospital... the others involved recieved minor injuries.

No word on if the driver will face charges.
