SPANISH FORK -- The Utah Department of Transportation is making progress on its I-15 CORE project, but that means some road closures overnight.
Wednesday night, construction crews closed the freeway in Spanish Fork to place beams on the 2700 North bridge.
Thursday night, between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Friday morning, UDOT will continue that work by closing I-15 in both directions between 400 South in Springville and Main Street in Spanish Fork.
The 2700 North bridge is one of 63 structures on the 24-mile CORE project that will be new, rebuilt or modified.
