Alex Cabrero reporting West Valley police have a murder mystery on their hands tonight. They know who the victim is, but have no suspects.

Officers are working on five different crime scenes in relation to this incident. That's because the victim reportedly was running from his attackers.

The whole thing began after 5 pm, when police say some sort of fight broke out. Residents called police, saying a man was getting beat up. When police arrived, the victim's car was smashed, there was a lot of yelling, and a lot of confusion.

One woman says she saw it happen. According to her, one man yelled, "I'm marrying her." Then the fight began.

She says a van drove up, people got out and started hitting the victim with boards. The 25-year-old victim started running from the assailants. We understand that he is the one who died at one of the crime scenes.

Police are not releasing his name, or saying how he died. They are searching for suspects in the case.
