SALT LAKE CITY -- A semi truck carrying hazardous material went off a road and slid into a ditch Wednesday morning.
It happened around 5:45 a.m. in the area of 2200 North and Redwood Road.
Officials were concerned because the truck came to rest over a Chevron pipeline that pumps gas to the airport. But a wrecker was able to haul the semi away safely.
The road has reopened. No word on what caused the crash.
