GARDEN CITY -- A 20-month-old girl drowned after falling into a pool at a resort near Bear Lake Saturday.
Police say the girl and her family were swimming at the indoor pool at the WorldMark Resort in Garden City around 11:30 a.m. Family members didn't see the little girl wander from the kiddie pool to the adult pool, where she fell in.
She was discovered at the bottom of the pool a short time later.
Police estimate the girl had been in the water anywhere from three to five minutes before a family member pulled her out and began CPR.
The girl was flown to Primary Children's Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Police have not released the girl's name.
