CHESTER, Pa. (AP) -- Fabian Espindola scored in the 17th minute to help Real Salt Lake earn a 1-1 draw against the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday night.

Real Salt Lake (10-4-6) is still winless this season when the opponent scores first, although the defending MLS Cup champs have won all 10 games in which they strike first.

Rookie Danny Mwanga scored for the Union (4-10-4) off a nifty pass from Sebastien Le Toux, before Espindola gathered in a pass from Tony Beltran and took advantage of a slip by Juan Diego Gonzalez. Espindola then sent off a shot to the short side past goalkeeper Chris Seitz.

Real Salt Lake entered the game with 33 goals, the most in the league.
