(KSL News) Salt Lake County Sheriff's deputies and narcotics officers pulled over some suspects today they believe to be dealing in narcotics and firearms.
Lt. Chris Bertram of the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Department said, "Incident to that arrest, we took into custody some individuals that we believe are persons of interest in the South Salt Lake homicide that occurred April 29."
In that shooting, two women, a man and a dog were shot. The 50-year-old man had a gunshot wound and was declared dead at the hospital. The women are recovering, but the dog was killed.
South Salt Lake detectives are interviewing the suspects tonight. They face drug and weapons charges even if they're not tied to the homicide.
