(KSL News) -- A company that's been in Utah for 80 years is having some financial woes.

Cream O' Weber, which operates dairy farms and milk processing plants, is laying off 40 employees from its processing and distribution areas.

The layoffs come after the company lost a major account with Associated Foods.

Cream O' Weber stresses that the lost account has nothing to do with the quality of its products and calls it "a competitive change in the market."

It's seeking additional clients and hopes to rehire some of the laid-off workers.
