"Yeah, they were cruising around. I mean, I don't know how fast the first one I saw was going, but man, I bet he was going 90 miles an hour," said Jared Madsen, who saw the chase.

The suspected prowler jumped into a car and led police on a chase through Lehi neighborhoods.

One of the officers performed a "pit maneuver" and forced the suspect into an empty field.

"It does appear that he was in a stolen vehicle," said Lt. Darren Paul with the Lehi Police Department. "He was also arrested on several other charges, and he also had several outstanding warrants for his arrest for similar fleeing incidences."

The suspect, Bernard Cubbison of Lehi, put up a fight once out of the vehicle and officers had to use a Taser to subdue him.

Cubbison faces charges from avoiding apprehension to disorderly conduct.
