NEW YORK, Oct 14, 2005 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Teen mogul Mary-Kate Olsen is taking a leave of absence from her studies at New York University, People magazine reported Friday.
Her rep said the 19-year-old twin wants to "focus on her increasing responsibilities as co-president of Dualstar Entertainment Group and to pursue personal interests.
"She's not reentering any kind of treatment facility or anything like that," the rep said.
Olsen spent time at a Utah treatment center during the summer for an eating disorder.
Olsen's sister, Ashley, will reportedly stay at NYU.
The sisters bought out their Dualstar partner this year, took over the co-presidency of the business, hired a new chief executive officer and expanded the company to include boys' clothing.
The rep said Mary-Kate Olsen is "very passionate" about the business.
