(KSL News) -- A St. George man accused of killing his brother and sister-in-law at their home in California, then setting their garage on fire, pleaded not guilty.
Kent Wesley Holman is charged with double homicide, burglary, arson, and possession of a handgun.
If convicted, Holman could receive the death penalty, but prosecutors haven't said whether they will seek that sentence.
The hearing starts in November.
Police believe Holman drove from Utah to his 83-year-old brother's California home, and shot the couple.
They believe Holman started the fire to cover up the crime.
