(KSL News) -- The wife of a prison inmate who died behind bars is now suing several employees of the Department of Corrections.
John Jehu Gardner was killed last year after his head was crushed by the door to his cell. His wife Catherine claims Gardener was not given the proper attention after the incident, leading to his death. She is asking for unspecified damages.
The Department of Corrections has not commented on the suit.
