Randall Jeppesen, KSL NewsradioPolice tasered a man Wednesday night after he allegedly broke into a smoke shop.
Around 11:00 p.m., police say the man used a rock to break through the door of Stogies Smoke Shop, but the owner was inside, so the suspect ran off.
Lt. Cliff Argyle said the man came back on a stolen bicycle to get his car. He headed toward University Avenue. The suspect then crashed his car, jumped out, and climbed a tree. The man refused to come down, so Provo police tasered him.
