PAGE, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities have recovered the body of a Greek tourist who apparently fell about 600 feet off a cliff at the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
National Park Service rangers responded to a report Saturday that a man fell at the Horseshoe Bend Overlook. The body was later found at the base of the cliff near the Colorado River.
Authorities say the 20-year-old man was from Greece and was traveling with a small tour group. The victim's name and his hometown was not immediately released.
Park officials said Monday that the body was taken to the Coconino County Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death and the county Sheriff's Office was investigating the incident.
