(KSL News) -- A baby is without his mom this morning. Police don't know if something happened to the mother, or if she abandoned her child.
The mom has been identified as 36-year-old Mandy Trujillo. On Saturday she left her son with a babysitter at a man's house and went to a bar with the man.
Lt. Dave Askerlund, Salt Lake City Police Dept: "There was an argument between them. It wasn't physical at the time they split up."
The baby and babysitter were at the man's house. But the woman never came back for her son.
The mother's date took the baby to a friend's house the next day. Those friends called police. Now, two days later, there's still no sign of the mom.
Police say they have checked hospitals and even the jail, but have no leads on the woman.
