(KSL News) -- Two kitchen fires kept fire crews busy today.
Early this afternoon crews responded to a small house fire in Syracuse. A fast attack by fire crews prevented the flames from spreading.
Investigators say the blaze was contained to the kitchen.
There's still no word on how the blaze started.
No one was home when a fire began this morning in a Millcreek home. Neighbors saw smoke pouring out of the windows of the home and called the fire department.
There was smoke damage throughout the house, but the flames were confined to the kitchen.
Damage is estimated at more than 25-thousand dollars.
