SOUTH SALT LAKE CITY -- Police are trying to track down a man who robbed a South Salt Lake bank Friday.

Officers say around 3:30 p.m., the man walked into the Wells Fargo Bank branch on 3300 South and State Street, handed the teller a note and demanded money. He did not show any weapon.

After the robber got the money, he walked out of the bank and disappeared. He was last seen heading south on State Street.

The man is described as 6 feet tall with a heavy build. Witnesses say he appears to be in his 40s and has balding light-brown hair and a full beard.

If you recognize the man, call the South Salt Lake Police Department at 801-840-4000.
