ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Oct 6, 2005 (UPI via COMTEX) -- More than 150 nature photographers from around the world were in Anchorage, Alaska, this week to discuss various conservational initiatives.
The photographers specifically discussed how photography can contribute to the conservation efforts to protect wilderness areas, as well as endangered species.
The Conservation Photography Symposium, sponsored by National Geographic, Conservation International and Asociación Sierra Madre, was to end Friday with the official launch of the International League of Conservation Photographers.
