(KSL News) -- The San Juan County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 78-year old man from Seattle, Washington.
They say Kenneth Schneiders' vehicle became stuck in a ravine in the Steven's Canyon area.
He left a note on the car saying, "I am walking to the ranch".
That note was found Monday evening and a search was immediately started.
