MIDVALE -- A car drove into a canal near 7700 South and 900 East in Midvale Thursday afternoon.
The vehicle went off the road and into the irrigation canal after being hit by another car. Police think the accident happened because of a medical condition of an elderly driver.
The two people inside escaped with minor injuries.
