(KSL News) A semi-truck crashed into a Bountiful house this evening.
The driver of the truck had parked it in an east Bountful neighborhood near 3500 South 900 East. He had just started to lower the ramp on the trailer to unload the track-hoe.
Gary Koehn/ Bountiful Police Dept.: "When he got off the truck to get the track hoe off, the weight shifted, we think, and the truck rolled forward and into the house."
The truck rolled about 50 feet before hitting the house. The driver could do nothing but watch. No one was in the house, which suffered about 50-thousand dollars in damage.
