(KSL News) -- 30 cats rescued from Gulf Coast animal shelters are looking for good homes here in Utah.

'No More Homeless Pets' organized a rescue convoy and picked up adoptable pets from overburdened shelters in Mississippi. The cats were up for adoption before Hurricane Katrina and have no original owners.

The felines have been treated and vaccinated. They are at the Mountain View Animal Hospital in Sandy. They are up for adoption today and tomorrow.
