SALT LAKE CITY -- Nitro Jam is coming to the Rocky Mountain Raceway, and you can enter for a chance to watch the thrill from the starting line.
Two-hundred-fifty race teams from 14 states and three countries will head to Utah for the Western swing of the IHRA Nitro Jam tour June 18 and 19. Local drag racers will showcase Utah's fastest cars and most talented drivers in front of a national audience on SPEED TV.
Teams will compete in one of seven sportsman classes, Top Fuel, Pro Fuel Dragsters or Prostalgia Nitro Funny Cars. All teams will compete for prize money and a chance at the World Championship.
In addition to world-class racing, Nitro Jam will also feature FanFest, Nitro Thunder, dueling Jet Trucks, and fireworks.
