(KSL News) A fugitive wanted on several warrants, including weapons charges, drugs and murder is behind bars this morning, but he doesn't seem too upset about it.
While being put in a police car, Terrance Vas told us, "I gave you a thumbs up and smiled and turned the music up."
Police found Vas at a Salt Lake City apartment complex at 645 North 800 West. When they saw him come out of the building with a friend, they hid behind a dumpster.
Lt. Craig Gleason of the Salt Lake City Police Department said, "They came out from behind the dumpster and deployed a flash-bang diversion-type device. By the time those guys figured out what was going on after that, they were in custody."
Police say they've been looking for Vas for some time.
