PARK CITY -- A Los-Angeles area woman has filed a lawsuit against Google and a Utah man, claiming they're responsible for her getting hit by a car while walking in Park City.
According to the Salt Lake Tribune, Lauren Rosenberg filed the lawsuit last week. It says Rosenberg was using Google Maps on her Blackberry for directions to walk from an address on Daly Avenue to Prospector Avenue in Park City on Jan. 19.
She claims the mapping software led her to State Route 224, where she was hit by a car driven by a Salt Lake County man.
Her suit says the man was driving in a "negligent manner" and that Google failed to warn her that the highway has no sidewalks.
The lawsuit seeks at least $100,000 from Google.
