Mary Richards, KSL NewsradioA Target employee is accused of using a customer's credit card to buy herself a big gift card.

American Fork police say a Target clerk used a customer's credit card to buy a $700 Target gift card for herself. The clerk reportedly never gave the credit card back to the customer and the customer didn't notice. Then police say she swiped it again for that $700 charge.

Target officials say surveillance video shows the clerk make purchases on the gift card and forge the victim's signature.

She faces fraud and theft charges. Officers say she told them she was facing financial trouble and wasn't getting help from her ex-husband.
