LEWISTON, Utah (AP) -- The Cache County sheriff's office says a 58-year-old man has been killed in a horse-riding accident at a race track in northern Utah.
Lt. Matt Bilodeau says Dennis Dahle of Lewiston was riding a race horse Wednesday evening when the animal got spooked and he fell of. Bilodeau says the horse reared up, Dahle fell off and the horse fell on him.
The man was transported to Logan Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
