SALT LAKE CITY -- As summer approaches, more and more of us try to get into shape. But a man from Florida isn't jumping on a bike for the workout.

Glenn Fenster passed through the streets of Salt Lake City Wednesday morning on a bike ride that started in Miami and ends in Alaska. He rides to raise awareness for those who suffer from epilepsy, a cause that's deeply personal to him.

"I ride for my son Nile, who has been suffering from epilepsy since the age of 2," Fenster said. "This trip pales in comparison to the courage my son shows every day of his life."

Fenster hopes the 7,000-mile route will educate the public about epilepsy and inspire a cure.
