(KSL News) Erin Herrin is at home this morning less than a week after donating a kidney to her five-year-old daughter, Maliyah.
Maliyah needed the kidney after being separated from her conjoined twin sister, Kendra, last year. The transplant happened last Tuesday, and doctors said the surgery was a success.
Erin was allowed to go home yesterday. Maliyah will be released from the hospital in the next few weeks.
