(KSL News) A teenager is in the hospital on life support tonight, and her boyfriend is accused of putting her there.
Earlier today we told you about a 15-year-old girl who had been shot in the head in West Jordan early this morning. Tonight we have learned that girl is in very critical condition, possibly brain dead.
Investigators still do not have very much information in this case.
We do know that officers responded to a 911 call at the Willow Cove apartments at around 2 a.m. They flew the girl to the hospital with very critical injuries.
Police arrested 18-year-old Parley Dutson, identified as the girl's boyfriend. Officers booked him on attempted homicide.
Investigators do not know why he pulled the trigger.
The teens were apparently at the complex for a party.
