(KSL News) -- Officials in Sandy will meet tonight to consider adding a new Trax stop.
The Utah Transit Authority and Sandy City will discuss adding a stop at 9400 south that would let passengers off near Jordan Commons and the South Towne Expo Center.
UTA originally considered a stop at the site, but was discouraged by a lack of community support.
If approved, construction could begin as early as next month and be ready for use early next year.
