PROVO -- A Utah man convicted of sexually assaulting young boys won't see life outside of prison before 2075. A judge sentenced Pedro Hugo Rodriguez on 56 felony counts Friday in Provo.
Prosecutors say Rodriquez assaulted five boys at different homes where he lived in Payson, Lehi, Orem and Provo. They believe he met his victims at the Orem Recreation Center.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports that during his trial, Rodriquez claimed the boys were lying in their accusations against him. Jurors didn't buy it, and he found guilty of the crimes in March.
