SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Crews will be working to repair a section of I-80 in Parley's Canyon over the next few days after a semi crashed and caught on fire.

The accident happened early yesterday morning. That's when the Utah Highway Patrol says the semi lost control after it was believed to be going too fast down the canyon.

Troopers say the semi then flipped on its side, slid down the freeway and collided into a car. Officers say the semi later burst into flames. U-H-P says the a second semi, unable to stop, then collided into the first semi.

The crash shut down a section of I-80 for more than two hours. No one was seriously hurt. However, the incident did cause damage to the road. So, crews will spend the next several days fixing the freeway.
