PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- The Oregon Zoo's Black Bear exhibit has three new residents -- Cubby, Tuff and Dale.
They've moved to Portland from Utah's Hogle Zoo at Salt Lake City.
Cubby was born at a zoo in North Dakota. Tuff was born on a breeder's property in Missouri. And Dale -- the only female in the group -- was found as an orphaned cub in Minnesota.
KGW reports the three are slowly being acclimated to their Oregon Zoo surroundings and will move in permanently next month.
The bears that originally inhabited the Black Bear Ridge exhibit were euthanized after developing old age problems.
