(KSL News) -- Hurricane Katrina also wiped out law enforcement agencies.

That's why Salt Lake County Sheriff’s deputies want to help another sheriff's office in Hancock, Mississippi.

Dep. Reed Kartchner, Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office: "We've gathered uniforms and boots and coats and personal items to help them through this flood."

Four drivers will leave tomorrow morning to take the gear down South.
