WILLARD -- Fishermen pulled a badly decomposed body from Willard Bay Saturday morning.
Police have identified the body as 60-year-old Donald Larkin of Pocatello, Idaho.
Rangers with Utah State Parks say several men were fishing near the northern dike around 10:30 when they spotted a body floating in the reservoir. Rangers worked with the Box Elder County Dive Team to recover Larkin's body.
Larkin's car was found abandoned at Willard Bay North Marina in March. Investigators say it appeared Larkin may have taken a kayak onto the bay.
Five separate searches were conducted by officials from the sheriff's office, the Department of Public Safety and Utah State Parks from March 18 through April 8.
Crews used helicopters and dive teams in the search but were unsuccessful.
Larkin's body has been turned over to State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
