(KSL News) -- A new form of meth is sweeping the nation and ending up here in Utah. It's called ICE and it's even more addictive than the normal form of meth.

Ice Meth Becoming More Prevalent

Experts say just one use of ICE can damage your brain. Utah drug enforcement agents say much of the meth they are seeing now is ICE.

Miguel Miranda of the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office said, "Just know that it's everywhere, ICE meth is everywhere. Everybody is using it, all the way from your suburban neighborhoods to all the way to maybe downtown areas."

In recent years police have dramatically reduced meth labs in the United States, but those efforts are being undercut by Mexican drug traffickers, who mass produce ICE, then smuggle it throughout the U.S.
