Police need public's help identifying Shopko robbery suspect

WEST JORDAN -- West Jordan police need your help tracking down a man who robbed a pharmacy.

A man entered the Shopko pharmacy at 1553 W. 9000 South in West Jordan on April 11 and handed the pharmacist a note demanding OxyContin.

The suspect was given the medication and he left without further incident. No weapon was seen. It is not known whether he fled on foot or in a vehicle.

A surveillance photograph of the suspect shows a 28-32 year old Caucasian male of medium build with dark facial hair wearing a black hooded coat and jeans.

Police are asking for anyone who has information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspect who committed this crime to contact the West Jordan Police Investigations Division at (801) 256-2000, reference case number 10H004937.
