SALT LAKE CITY -- According to a new report, Utah men on average make $10,000 more than their female counterparts.
The National Partnership for Women and Families says full-time employed women in Utah make an average of a little over $31,000 a year. They say men make just over $45,000 a year.
"This report demonstrates that the work to outlaw wage discrimination against women in this country is not done," said National Partnership President Debra L. Ness. "The wage gap is even worse for women of color. It takes a tremendous toll on women in every state."
The reports states nationwide women are paid 77 cents to a man's dollar.
