(Salt Lake City-AP) -- A competency hearing for Wanda Barzee is set for December 11.

Barzee and her husband Brian David Mitchell are charged with kidnapping Elizabeth Smart from her bedroom in Salt Lake City in June of last year.

Yesterday was the deadline for Barzee's mental evaluations to be completed.

The deadline kept getting pushed back because attorneys had difficulty tracking down government and medical records from other states on the 58-year old Barzee.

Judge Judith Atherton should decide at this next hearing whether or not Barzee is competent to stand trial.

Smart was kidnapped in June of last year. She was found safe nine months later in a Salt Lake suburb.

Mitchell and Barzee are being held on $10 (m) million dollars bond.
