WEST JORDAN -- West Jordan police say around 3 p.m. Sunday, someone spotted a man face down in a muddy field. When police removed the body, they discovered the man had a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.
They initially thought it was self-inflicted, but have since found evidence that leads them to believe otherwise.
They have not yet found a weapon. Investigators are calling it suspicious.
