SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Federal Election Commission reports show Sen. Bob Bennett has about $791,000 in cash on hand to aid him in his quest for a fourth term in office.

The Republican from Utah is facing several challengers from within his party, including Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff.

Bennett's campaign released his FEC report to the public Friday, one day after it was due. Bennett reported raising more than $400,000 in the past three months and spending more than $544,000.

Shurtleff's campaign has not released his FEC report to reporters. But his campaign says Shurtleff raised about $100,000 in the past three months, bringing his total to $210,000. It is unclear how much of that $210,000 Shurtleff has spent.

The two will face off at the GOP convention in May.
