(KSL News) Floods hit the southern end of the Salt Lake valley tonight.
A thunderstorm this afternoon dumped several inches on rain on Riverton and South Jordan in just a matter of hours. The water filled up streets and flooded the basements of some homes.
The Utah Highway Patrol shut down parts of 106th South due to the waters, but that road has now reopened.
