(KSL News) -- More Utah National Guard troops may soon be heading to Iraq.
Word began circulating today among members of the 145th Field Artillery Battallion to expect an official call-up within the next couple of weeks. It's expected the troops will be activated in July and serve at least a year in the Middle East.
The deployment is likely the result of the Bush administration's troop surge in Iraq.
