WEST JORDAN -- Police arrested a West Jordan man on drug charges after finding more than a pound of methamphetamine in his home.

According to the Salt Lake Tribune, the Federal Drug Enforcement agents worked with local law enforcement to take Jose de Jesus Magana, a suspected drug dealer, into custody late Monday afternoon.

They raided his home, near 8400 South and Oak Mill Drive, and found more than $100,000 worth of meth inside.

Magana is now charged with possessing illegal drugs with intent to distribute and will likely face even stiffer federal charges.
